Care

Plated metal jewelry is gold, silver or rose gold plated over a base metal of brass, hematite, etc... Plated metal jewelry may fade or wear over time and the rate is dependent on the wearer, their environment, their care of their items, other jewelry they wear, etc... To keep your jewelry with plated metallic elements looking its best, it is imperative that you:

Refrain from scratching, scraping and excess rubbing of the beads
Refrain from using harsh or abrasive chemicals, soaps, scrubs, sprays, lotions, sanitizers, etc... on or near the beads
Remove surface oils left by your skin on your jewelry by wiping with a dry microfiber cloth and store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Refrain from wearing while exercising, washing your hands, or while showering as perspiration from your skin, or any damp or wet environment will cause the beads to discolor.

Tips

Remove your bracelets while washing your hands, washing dishes, or anytime your hands are in water. Leave a small bowl or trinket tray next to your sink to place them in and protect them from splashes.
Use caution when stacking with other bracelets as they may cause scratches and scraping.
If you are right handed, consider wearing your jewelry on your left hand and visa versa.
The steam from a hot shower or bath can cause wear and tear.  Leave your items in another room and not on the bathroom vanity.
To avoid over stretching of the elastic cord, roll the bracelet down your hand onto your wrist and don't allow children or pets to tug at the elastic.
